Overview:

Highly skilled and passionate legal counsel to lead our legal department for a seasonal term. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing litigation, negotiating contracts, and leading our legal team with expertise, integrity, and passion. This role will require collaboration across various departments to ensure that the company’s legal interests are well-managed and protected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts ensuring alignment with business objectives while protecting the company’s interests. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and amendments.

• Litigation Management: Represent and support the company’s interests in legal disputes. Develop case strategies, prepare case documentation, and manage all aspects of dispute resolution.

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Provide legal guidance across multiple departments including Finance, HR, and Operations. Work together to address legal matters that may affect multiple functions, ensuring compliance and risk management are handled with a unified approach.

• Legal Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the company remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, mitigating potential legal risks.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment and ensuring that the team is aligned with the company’s goals.

Essential Requirements:

• Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor of Law degree with a strong academic background.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in legal consulting and dispute resolution. Proven track record in managing litigation and complex contract negotiations.

Skills & Expertise:
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong expertise in contract law, arbitration, negotiation, and risk management.

Language Proficiency –  Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.

Core Attributes –  High integrity, accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive legal matters with discretion.

Salary Range – 15,000 to 25000 AED
