Job Description

 

 As a receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a creative and interactive environment. Your role will involve welcoming children and their parents, managing inquiries, facilitating registrations, and ensuring a smooth flow of activities. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging experience for children and their families. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Greet children and their parents, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Provide information about the craft activities, schedules, and pricing options. 
  • Registration and Check-In: Assist with the registration process, including collecting necessary information and completing waivers. Ensure accurate record-keeping of participant information and contact details. Efficiently check-in participants and handle any necessary paperwork. 
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing information about upcoming events, classes, and workshops. Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor while interacting with children and their parents. 
  • Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment. Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and maintain proper records. 
  • Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the activity schedule, including booking appointments, rescheduling, and maintaining an organized calendar. Communicate any changes or updates to participants and staff members. 
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact between parents, participants, and instructors. Relay messages, answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about the activities and any updates or changes. 
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Coordinate with staff members to ensure craft supplies, materials, and equipment are readily available and properly stocked. 
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure environment for children. Monitor the premises, report any concerns or incidents, and follow emergency procedures if necessary. 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and their parents. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage inquiries, registrations, and schedules. 
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in record-keeping and financial transactions. 
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and using office software. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism. 
  • Passion for working with children and an interest in crafts and creative activities.

  • Transportation: AED 300 (location is Dubai Investment Park, adjacent to Metro Station)
