As a Machinist and Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machines and equipment. This includes tasks such as replacing parts, bearings, belts, chains, and gears, as well as working with machine tools like manual lathe machines, milling machines, vertical and hand drills, grinders, and ARC/MIG welding equipment. You will also manufacture and maintain plastic molds using available tools to ensure smooth and continuous production processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Manufacture and Maintain Parts/Molds: Produce, fabricate, and maintain machine parts and molds as per operational requirements using workshop tools such as lathe machines and milling machines, ensuring a safe and efficient production process.
2. Machine Installation and Modification: Handle the installation, relocation, or modification of machines as requested by the maintenance team, ensuring proper setup and alignment for optimal performance.
3. Preventative Maintenance: Prepare and manage the maintenance schedule for all machines and equipment, replacing consumable parts and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to maintain overall machine fitness.
4. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and solve mechanical issues in machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Technical Skills: 

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance and machining.
• Proficient in using machine tools such as lathe and milling machines, as well as hand tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical operations and methods of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
• Welding skills (ARC, MIG) for equipment fabrication and repair.

Personal Skills: 

• Hardworking, responsible, and able to handle long work hours if required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn and research solutions.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
