 Operates Fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters,

and drill presses. Uses hand torch or furnace to pre-heat workpieces.

 Fits and welds metal parts together of steel structural items.

Main Responsibilities: Deliverables

 Cut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or

sub-assemblies.

 Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer

numerically controlled (CNC) machines.

 Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting or

riveting.

 Positioned, aligned, and secured parts and assemblies prior to assembly using

straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.

 Examined completed work for defects, and measured pieces with straightedges and

templates to ensure conformance with specifications; reported nonconforming material

to team leader for quality assurance.

 Responsible for trouble shooting on fabrication projects ensuring all work is

defective free.

 Ability to multi task and meet established goals and schedule.

Education Required:

 Vocational or technical training.

 Professional Certification.

 At least 3 years gulf experience in steel structural fabrication work

related experience.

 Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written

instructions.

 Ability to maintain a variety of detailed and accurate records.
